The Wild Reef is one of the most thrilling experiences you can have with your Shedd Aquarium Tickets. Watch the sharks gliding by and corals growing through the various aspects of a Philippine coral reef. In this exhibit, a world of color and motion awaits you to discover the Wild Reef, home to everything from large sharks to tiny mandarin dragonets.

At the Caribbean Reef, learn about the most vibrant ecosystem on the planet, the coral reef. This colony of predators and prey exists in a delicate, uncertain balance that includes the tiniest fish dashing among coral branches to sleek sharks roaming sunlit seas.

Polar Play Zone is an attractive exhibit for the little ones in the group. Here you can put on a penguin suit and pretend to be a bird at the Icy South play area. A kid-sized submarine will take you to the Icy North to experience the Arctic seas. Whilst you have your dose of fun, you may also discover opposites like huge and little, quick and slow, deep and shallow, and even north and south.

This exhibit is well known for its incredible diversity of plant and animal life, including caimans and cacao. The woodland is transformed into a location where fish may swim amid trees and discover new chances for food and refuge each year by flooding.

Islands and Lakes have distinctive ecosystems due to their isolation from populations on the land. As a result of this, you can spot beautiful creatures: Alligators, turtles, lookdowns, and cichlids. Taking A tour across the Islands and Lakes will take you through habitats and species from all over the world!

The astonishing flexibility of ocean species is on show in their capacity to live in the world's temperate and cold waters, from the shallow-water sharks of coastal kelp forests to the lone octopus in a deep cave. Giant deep-sea isopods crawl over the rough bottom, and lanky moray eels hide in rocky reefs. The ancient shark ancestor, the spotted ratfish, can tolerate the intense pressure and dim light of the deep ocean.

Rivers are important for both humans and animals, and they are vital to the societies that depend on them.
